This week’s questions for the book blogger hop is:
“In honor of Banned Books Week, what is your favorite “banned or frequently challenged book”?”
Click here for 2010-11 list in PDF format. You can also click HERE to view past years and choose from any of those titles!
I didn’t know about it, but the House of Night and the Vampire Academy series are in the list! Incredible! lol They were both had nudity scenes, and that’s why they were included (and it’s not like they are VERY explicit to be part of the adult books category)….That leads me to a question:
What’s you opinion on nudity/sex being part of YA books? Let me know your opinion!

I couldn’t pick a favorite from the ALA list. So I listed the ones I’ve read. Please come see what they are.

I don’t mind a little nudity in adult books as long as it doesn’t distract people from the main story, but I don’t think it’s necessary in young adult books. They have enough to deal with.
Come over to my blog if you get the chance. Here’s my post: http://bookendcrossing.blogspot.com/2011/10/book-blogger-hop-930-103.html
Have a great weekend!
