About Me
An avid romance reader and reviewer! I’m the owner and sole reviewer of http://reading-romances.com, a book review blog based on romances . I have blogged since March 2011 up  and I continue to review books on Goodreads, Amazon and have an active Twitter and Facebook pages. I tend to enjoy character driven stories with a HEA and sexy scenes! I love good twists in a story and to be surprised. I choose the books I want to review by reading the blurb.

I’m a fiction girl who loves romance novels! Mostly Historical, New Adult, Contemporary and Erotic romances. Sometimes paranormal romances and erotica. Occasionally romances with sci-fi and urban fantasy elements! I rarely read YAs.

Some of favorite authors include Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Lisa Kleypas, Kresley Cole, Christina Lauren, C.L. Wilson, Richelle Mead, Meg Cabot and Rebecca Royce.

 46-50 Points – 5 Hearts (Can’t live without you!)

A must read!!
Couldn’t put it down!
Kept thinking about it after reading!
I’ll probably read it again!
Go buy it NOW!

40-45 Points – 4 Hearts (Need you in my life!)

SO good!
Fabulous Book!
Well Written!
You gotta read it!
Highly Recommended!

30-39 Points – 3 Hearts (I might be in love)

A fun and enjoyable read
It kept my interest throughout
I had a nice experience reading it
You should give it a try!

21-29 Points – 2 Hearts ( This could lead to something…)

All right!
There was some good elements in it
Worth reading if you have extra time
I’d borrow and wouldn’t mind not having it back

0-20 Points – 1 Heart (Heartbroken)

A disappointment
Maybe another time?
Made me impatient

Attention, this doesn’t reflect my opinion about the book, it’s simply a code used to alert the reader on what he may (or not) expect.

Call the Firefighters!
Sex is the primary focus. The details are thoroughly graphic, and may explore some boundaries and taboos.
Ex: Lora Leigh, Angela Knight and Erotica titles.

I See Fireworks!
The love scenes are longer and more graphic (at least 3 of them), and some of them are left to the imagination. The book has a focus on sexual feelings and desires.
Ex: Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleyplas, most historical romances, HarlequinTemptations/Blazes and Silhouette Desires titles.

Burning Hot!
A couple of love scenes. Much is left to the imagination and uses euphemistic “code words.” Its focused on feelings and emotions.
Ex: Nora Roberts, Harlequin American Romance and Silhouette Special Edition titles.

Is it getting hot in here?
Kissing and touching, but no explicit scenes. Physical romance is implied or described using general terms.
Ex: The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead and other YAs titles.

Where’s the fire?
Kisses only.
Ex: Harlequin Romance and Silhouette Romance titles.
