Amaranth (The Resistance Trilogy, #1) by Rachael Wade

Knowledge changes everything…

Hoodoo-influenced Southern Louisiana seems like the perfect place for Camille to escape her abusive past and dysfunctional family. She doesn’t expect to fall in love with the handsome Gavin Devereaux and plummet into the world of Amaranth, a place of exile for reformed vampires.

Wrestling to escape a deadly ex-boyfriend while giving Gavin a chance, Camille is confronted with decisions that threaten not only her life, but the lives of her inhuman friends she has come to love. Entangled in her friends’ quest for freedom, she dives into their realm and faces the threats of Amaranth’s ruler—the mother of all vampires—and her own inner demons.

Now Camille must decide whether she will derail her life and make the ultimate sacrifice for the monsters that interrupted her bumpy path back to sanity—what she still wants so desperately—or escape with Gavin before it’s too late for both of them.

In It To Win It by Morgan Kearns

Sportscaster ‘Plain Jane’ Alexander was a late bloomer. Back in the day, she blended into the background, content to watch from the sidelines while Grayson Pierce soaked up the spotlight. Content until he broke her heart. Bitter, hurt and angry Jane did the college thing, came out of her shell, and never looked back. Grayson loves baseball. It was his pastime in high school, his passion in college, and now … his career. However baseball isn’t the only thing in Grayson’s heart. The problem is that Grayson has the reputation as a bad-boy. He likes fast cars and loose women and expensive liquor. All things that make him deplorable in Jane’s eyes, throw in his hot and cold attitude and she is ready to scream. When the promise of an exclusive interview brings a very reluctant Jane to Grayson’s home, she realizes that not everything is as it appears.

“Author Morgan Kearns does it again … In It To Win It will fast become a ‘keeper book’ for any romance reader.” -Kari Thomas, author of Spell-Kissed

Black Lust by Karyn Gerrard

Lucius Black lives a debauched and wild nightlife. Being a ‘Quarter’ (1/4 vampire), blood and sex are what he is. However, his existence wears thin after a century of hedonistic pleasure.

Trevina Patterson lives a quiet, happy life running a hair salon in a village on the east coast of the United Kingdom. It was a perfect life and all she could ask for, until a chance encounter with Lucius Black. What was it about him that was so unsettling and yet so attractive?

For Lucius, no woman had ever been enough, until Trevina. She awakened in him feelings he had not thought possible. Passions considered by him to be little more than vampiric mythology. She awakened his…black lust.

A Breach of Promise by Victoria Vane

How long would you wait for the man of your girlhood dreams? According to Miss Lydia Albinia Trent, six years is long enough. After a prolonged engagement to such an exceedingly reluctant man, she has finally decided to break it off.

When Lord Marcus Russell receives Lydia’s letter requesting a release from their contract, he is stunned by her audacity. Intending to repair the damage, he invites her to London—ostensibly to negotiate, but failing that, he will use any tool in his arsenal… including seduction.

Fortune’s Son by Emery Lee

Love is the ultimate gamble…

Seasoned gambler Philip Drake knows every trick and uses most of them. After years of infamy, he’s ready to accept the mantle of respectability with his earldom— until a devastating racing loss and the threat of debtors’ prison force Philip right back into his gaming ways…

Susannah, Lady Messingham, is a woman with a past who refuses to belong to any man again. But Philip’s skill catches her eye and she persuades him to teach her how to win at the tables. Their new partnership turns into an exhilarating high-stakes game that entangles them in terrifying risk and unimaginable rewards…

Immerse yourself in the risky side of Georgian England with a pair of lovers who aren’t afraid to risk it all on a toss of the dice…

The Highest Stakes by Emery Lee

What would you wager for love?

In the high stakes gentleman’s world of 18th century horseracing, a stable groom-cum-war hero returns to claim the girl he has loved since spying her riding hell-for-leather over the Doncaster heath. Determined to have her at any cost, he will risk everything.

A story of star-crossed lovers and horseracing, THE HIGHEST STAKES transports the reader to 18th century England, an era infamous for corruption, arranged marriages, and high stakes gambling; when racing and breeding became the obsession of the uppermost elite, and a match race might replace a duel in settling a point of honor.

Through the fictional love story of Robert Devington and Charlottte Wallace, a tale of drama, danger, thwarted love, and retribution unfurls…

  1. Hi Nat! Thanks for this giveaway blog hop! For future hops (which I signed up above), I think I mistakenly checked “I plan to host the giveaway” because I did not understand what it means immediately. What I hope is that I would want Reading Romances to host the giveaway and Simple Clockwork will be a participant, much like the Romancing Christmas Giveaway Blog Hop. Thanks!

  2. Thank you for hosting this giveaway and open it for international entry!
    I choose #1, #2, #3, #5 for my prize ^^

    Happy holidays!

  3. Thanks you for hosting this giveaway, sharing books with other people internationally!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  4. Thanks for this giveaway. I thought I had already entered but didn’t see any comments by me so here I go leaving one now. I could only ask to be put in for #4 & #5. Haven’t done the e-reader yet. Happy Holidays

  5. I cannot believe the traffic this generated. I am so grateful. And many leave comments. You guys are the greatest. Thanks. One linked from Book Blogs and I hope some are from Goodreads both places where I talked you up.

  6. I received a comment on my blog thanking me for the freebie but she couldn’t click for info on the other prizes. You can click through to each of the listed entrants and go to their sites, but if you click where it says in red about the prizes, it doesn’t act as a link. She wanted me to enter her through the comment section. She did get the link for my book. I told her to go to your actual site. Can I give you her email address? Or it is visible on the comment section of my blog if it would be wrong to post it here.

    1. did you post the inlinkz code? You can just link back to this post and they can start hoping from here and check the other entries too if you want.

  7. Yes. I posted it by copying the html you sent me into a widget, and then you said to post it in a blog entry, so it is in both places. I have had more than sixty other people do this with no problem. I told her she can always link straight to your website and that all the info was there. She did download my book. She thanked me for that.

Leave me your thoughts too!
