Wingman rule number one: don’t fall for a client.

After a career-ending accident, former NFL recruit Ian Hunter is back on campus—and he’s ready to get his new game on. review

The Matchmaker’s Playbook is the first book in a new adult series, Wingmen Inc. It can be read as a standalone and there’s no cliffhanger regarding the main couple.

One thing that set this book apart from other books is that it’s completely told from the male perspective. Ian was fun, charming and of course, amazing in bed. The heroine, Blake, is just as as charming, but with an innocence that complemented the hero’s personality. Loved the dialogue between them!

Deep down this story wasn’t about playing games, communication issues, getting the guy/girl, overcoming the past or even redemption, but to always value yourself and put yourself first. Rachel’s voice is strong and compelling.

The Epilogue was so funny, the perfect ending. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Gabi and Lex sound like they’ll be explosive together!
