This week’s questions are:
“What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead!! LOL! Anyone willing to borrow me an ARC? ='[
Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
I have to say “An offer from a gentleman” by Julia Quinn! It was the book that really made me into historical romance and made me a Julia Quin fan! I bought the book and now I’m expecting the paerback version so arrive..I’m so excited!
Taking it Personal: Which books have effected you on a personal level and lingered in your mind long after you closed the pages?
To give an example, I can use Harry Potter. I grew up with the books, movies, I absolutely love everything related to it. When I was a teen I had depression and a lot of deaths going on at the family. J.K.Rowling herself said several times that depression and death were subjects that made her write the books. I can truly say that those books made me a better person, stronger and looking at the bright side of things…
Leave a comment and I’ll happily comment back! Thanks in advance! =D

I don’t think I’ve ever read historical romances. At least not recently. I recall a book a loooong time ago that might be in the genre, but I don’t remember much about it. I just know there were indians and settlers.

I loved that someone said once that no one will experience Harry Potter the way the generation that grew up with the books (as they came out) did. The mystery, not knowing the ending, not seeing anything in film first! It makes me very happy to have had my Potter organically…something all readers treasure!

I’ve heard SO much about the Bloodlines book being so incredible, but to be honest I haven’t read the Vampire Academy books yet. I wasn’t sure if I needed to read the VA books before, or can I just start with Bloodlines. At any rate, to answer your question from my blog, you can find me on twitter @BookwormAsheley.
Those Harry Potter books are wonderful. I’ve been seeing a lot of them today!
