Tuesday’s Events (III)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This meme was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Top Ten Books That Came Recommended

1. C.L.Wilson’s Tairen Soul series

Lord of the Fading Lands (Tairen Soul, #1)

BEST fantasy series of the DECADE! Imagine The Lord of the Rings focused on romance and shifters! Fantasy+ Romance + Paranormal! Beautiful written, touching story, incredible characters…I pray every night for the one who recommended me this!

   2. Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark Series

A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2)

I can say this is the best long series around, Kresley Cole is a genious, if you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for?!Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)

3. Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy – I’m not a big fan of YA, but this one got me good! I don’t think I’ll find any YA as good as this one. Maybe I like it  because she also writes adult books and it doesn’t feel “childish”.

Hey you, leave a comment recommending me a good YA that isn’t The Morganville Vampires or The House of Night (didn’t like those)!

4. J.R. Ward’s The Black Dagger Brotherhood – GREAT series at the beginning, now not so much…I lost all the interest for the path she’s leading this series to…

5. Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight  – The one that  got me hooked on paranormal!

6.. Charlaine Harris’ Dead After Dark – Loved this book, but later the same thing that happened to J.R. Ward’s happened to this one…
